I’ve had a lifetime interest in art. When I was a child I was fascinated by the box of family photos, I didn’t always know whom it was or where the image was from but they all told a story.

And that began my long history of art making. I’ve explored many mediums. I’ve quilted, beaded, painted, photographed, and sculpted. Several years ago while taking a 3D class at Northwest College I discovered an artist, Louise Nevelson, who inspired me to start creating “boxes”.

I love using wood and old rusty objects to create my series of “Personified Boxes”. I’m currently taking another 3D class at MSUB and am using yet other different materials to create sculptures. I moved to Billings two years ago and am excited to see the growth in the arts that’s taking place here and I’m glad to be a part of it.
