Immerse yourself in the theater and find the enchantment of the stage.  Use acting as a way to express yourself and truly enjoy that “all the world is a stage”.

A brief overview of the history of drama including Greek tragedies and Shakespearean flair will be taught.  Basic techniques and stage presence will be presented, as well as the proper use of backdrops and stage lighting.  Students will be creating and directing skits.  Special workshops will be given on costume-making and sword fighting.  The science and art of presentation will be discussed.  Final performance will be presented at the conclusion of class.  Renowned Gary Holston and Lauren Lanes will (hopefully) be making an appearance.
