Beyond your Basic Pour Painting Session 3
INSTRUCTOR: Mary Verploegen
BIO: Mary is a retired computer professor who loves being creative in the classroom and outside of the classroom. She has taught numerous paint pouring classes to people from 4 to 65 years of age. A metal artist and quilter for over 40 years, Mary has won community awards for her artistic work with fabric and use of color.
This is part three of a 3 part class.
SESSION #3: Saturday Afternoon: Saturday, February 23, 2019 at 1:00 – 3:00 pm. Proposed Cost: $25.00 for members; $30.00 for non-members. Minimum number required: 10. Focus: Intermediate Class: Shape of Montana with various paint pouring techniques explored, including a wet paper towel, blowing shapes, and creating images. A variety of options will be available: including tile, wood, glass and canvas.
MATERIALS: SCRaP in Billings will provide all materials and supplies, including acrylic paints and Flood Floetrol.
PICK-UP: Participants will need to keep their painting at SCRaP in Billings for at least a day for drying.
