Though not born in Montana, from the age of eight I have lived almost exclusively in Montana, and feel like a duck out of water everywhere else. I hope a love for the wide-open spaces is observed in my work.

Beth Regele is a local mixed-media artist with a love for contrast and heavy texture in art. She will be showing pieces from her "Centered" series. The series shows her exploration of our place in the galaxy, with dreamy, ethereal spheres and mandalas floating in space. The combination of light, airy colors and dark, moody metal reflects the ups and downs of life here on Earth. She will also be offering wearable art, tiny paintings framed in a bezel, hung on a necklace chain. This is her first show with pieces from her new studio space, Confetti Art Studio.

Mary is a mom whose vision for art is to remind the weary, the broken and the discouraged about the goodness of Jesus and the life He brings. After a long and painful life difficulty,  Harcus is living proof that the bright colors in art can bring comfort.

Angie studied art at MSU-Billings, MT. Art has always been her passion from early childhood days of drawings fed on imagination and Montana country air.  Currently her main medium is acrylic, which she utilizes for painting on locally found feathers, to canvas. She also does pencil drawings, mixed media, and murals.

I’ve had a lifetime interest in art. When I was a child I was fascinated by the box of family photos, I didn’t always know whom it was or where the image was from but they all told a story.

And that began my long history of art making. I’ve explored many mediums. I’ve quilted, beaded, painted, photographed, and sculpted. Several years ago while taking a 3D class at Northwest College I discovered an artist, Louise Nevelson, who inspired me to start creating “boxes”.

Justin is one of our notorious volunteers  with talents we are just beginning to learn about. Justin started volunteering after he heard about us in the Outpost. Michelle Dyk was born in Englewood, CO. She spent half her childhood in Lille, France, before moving to Billings, MT, growing up, and receiving her Fine Arts degree from MSU-Billings. She works out of her studio located in the Billings Open Studio in the heart of the historic downtown district.
